Manipal Entrance Test

Manipal Entrance Test (MET), also known as MAHE-OET, formerly Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET).Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programmes that it has on offer. Candidates can secure admissions in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET).

The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) exam, was earlier, known as Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET). Programmes on offer for admissions at Manipal University include – MBBS, MD, MS, PG Medical Diploma, MSc (in many disciplines), MPhil, DM, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Pathology (BASLP), Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BSc CVT), BSc (in many disciplines), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BTech (in many disciplines), MTech (in many disciplines), MSc (in many disciplines), BArch, BDes, BA, MA and the likes.

MET 2023 Eligibility

Candidates need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria if they want to apply for MET 2023:

BTech Courses - Pass in 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% mark taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Lateral BTech - 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.

Marking Scheme For MCQs & NAT, for every correct answer, four marks will be awarded
Negative Marking For MCQs every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted and no negative marking for NAT.
