Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2023 is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its three campuses located at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria enables Class 12th candidates with 75% marks in PCM or PCB to apply for the exam. Along with that candidates must have scored an individual score of 60% in all the required subjects.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

BITS Pilani has laid out the eligibility standards as per the academic background of the candidate.
These standards vary for all the courses. Candidates who have cleared Class 12th in 2019 or before are not eligible for admission to BITS.
Also, candidates who are already enrolled in a program at BITS are also not eligible to appear for BITSAT 2023.
Only students who will qualify Class 12th in 2023 or have cleared Class 12th in 2022 are eligible to fill BITSAT Application Form 2023.
Candidates planning to appear for B.Pharm will also have to fulfill the same eligibility criteria.
Also, admission to all the students who have obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations are eligibile for the direct admissions.
Students must note that admissions to BITS are made purely on the basis of merit. The merit position of a candidate is based on BITSAT scores. However, the eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the minimum requirements of marks, education qualification and the required mandatory subjects.

BITSAT Paper Pattern 2023 :

There are 130 questions for 390 marks in the paper. BITSAT 2023 question paper is divided into 4 sections- Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, Mathematics.

For the B.Pharm program, the paper pattern includes Biology instead of Mathematics.
BITSAT exam duration is 3 hours.
BITSAT exam mode is online CBT at the designated test center.

BITS Pilani will release BITSAT 2023 Cut off marks for each course. You must have scored more than the cut off marks to be eligible for admission to B.E/ B.Pharm courses in BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. BITSAT 2023 expected cut off is 270+ for B.E. courses and 200-220 for B.Pharm at BITS Pilani.
