National Biotechnology Olympiad

National Biotechnology Olympiad aims to create awareness about Biotechnology by bringing in an element of challenge and competition and inspire the younger generation to enhance their knowledge about the field.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates participating in National Biotechnology Olympiad must be a student of class 1 to 12 and the school must be affiliated to CBSE, ICSE, or any other Major State Board.

Exam Format:

Being an assessment test rather than a competitive exam, each question is worth one mark with no marks deducted for wrong answers.

The questions become harder as the students move from the first question to the last. The questions in the last are designed so as to test the higher-order thinking skills of the students and are given more weight. This helps the examiners when developing their assessment reports

The questions are also divided by the skills assessed and is reflected in the student Performance report.
